Robert Pattinson: Eternal love is `boring`
Robert Pattinson thinks it`s "boring" to be with one person your whole life.
The Twilight hunk confirmed he is dating his co-star from the vampire film franchise Kristen Stewart earlier this year. There had been rumours they were romantically involved for months, but both had refused to discuss them. Even now, neither talks openly about the relationship.
Robert has now discussed his thoughts on love in general, explaining he isn`t comfortable with the notion of eternal love.
"The idea seems strange to me," he said. "It`s so boring to spend your whole life with the same person."
Despite this, Robert went on to gush about 20-year-old Kristen. The 24-year-old said he is in awe of the way Kristen has handled fame since starring in Twilight - her role as Bella Swan in the movies has won her a legion of fans. Robert insists she is unaffected by her new celebrity, which is why they are so close.
"What I especially like about her is that she`s like me, not dizzy from fans and press attention. She stays true to herself and very smart for her age" he told the Russian edition of Grazia magazine.
"With each movie she matured. During the filming of Eclipse, I realised that she matured a lot and become a real woman. And, of course, it`s a lot easier to work with a person I`ve worked with before. We understand each other without the words. I can tell Kristen about all my problems. But honestly I don`t have to? because she`s in same position as I am."
He added Kristen is the "most honest and genuine person" he has ever spent time with, and is grateful for the "good advice" she continually gives him.
